Questions for 2009 City of Houston candidates The Citizens' Transportation Coalition (CTC) is an all-volunteer grassroots transportation advocacy organization. Formed in 2004, we are interested in transportation planning issues and opportunities across the 8-county Houston region. Do City of Houston candidates care about your neighborhood's transportation needs? We asked this year's candidates for Mayor, Controller, and Houston City Council what they think about several transportation policy issues that affect neighborhoods. Most questions included background information. Questions were sent to candidates and returned by email, fax, and postal service. All candidates received the same questions. Candidate responses are presented verbatim. We are continuing to post responses as they come in.
